Refund and Return Policy for Tour7Portugal
At Tour7Portugal, we strive to offer exceptional experiences, and we understand that plans can change. This Refund and Return Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted, along with our procedures for cancellations, modifications, and special circumstances.
1. Cancellations
We offer a clear cancellation policy to ensure both parties have a mutual understanding of the process.
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled tour:
You are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for the tour. To qualify for this refund, your cancellation must be received by Tour7Portugal at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the tour. This gives us enough time to adjust the tour logistics and offer the spot to other guests. - Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled tour:
Unfortunately, if you cancel within 48 hours of the tour start time, no refund will be issued. This is because it becomes difficult for us to fill the spot with short notice, and the costs for preparation, staffing, and logistics have already been incurred. - No-show or failure to attend the tour:
If you do not show up for your tour or miss your scheduled tour time without prior cancellation, no refund will be provided. In these situations, we cannot reallocate the tour space or reschedule your booking.
2. Modifications
We understand that travel plans can change, and we offer flexibility in making modifications:
- Changing the date or details of your tour (48 hours in advance):
If you need to modify your booking, such as changing the tour date or adjusting details (number of people, tour preferences), you must request these changes at least 48 hours before the scheduled tour date. Modifications are subject to availability, and we will make every effort to accommodate your request. Additional charges may apply for changes, depending on the nature of the modification (e.g., higher pricing for a different tour date or a larger group). - Modifications within 48 hours of the tour:
Any modification requests made within 48 hours of the tour date cannot be guaranteed, as changes may not be feasible given time constraints or availability. If changes are made within this window, additional fees may apply, or the request might be declined.
3. Refund Process
We aim to process refunds promptly and transparently.
- Refund Processing Time:
Refunds will typically be processed within 14 business days from the cancellation date. Please note that this time frame may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution. - Method of Refund:
Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. If you paid by credit card, the refund will be credited to your card. If you paid via bank transfer or another payment method, the refund will be processed accordingly. Please ensure your payment method details are correct when requesting a refund. - Partial Refunds:
If a tour has been partially enjoyed (e.g., the tour was interrupted, or only part of the tour was completed), we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis. In such cases, a partial refund may be issued based on the duration of the tour and the circumstances leading to the interruption.
4. Special Circumstances
There are certain exceptional cases where we consider refunds or adjustments:
- Tour Cancellations by Tour7Portugal:
In rare cases where Tour7Portugal has to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, such as poor weather conditions, safety concerns, or operational difficulties, you will be notified as soon as possible. In such cases, we will offer you:- A full refund of the amount paid
- An alternative date for the tour, based on availability and your preference
- Or an alternative tour, if applicable
- If none of the above options are suitable, we will provide a refund via your original payment method.
- Health-related Issues:
In the event of illness or health issues preventing you from attending the tour, we will consider partial refunds or rescheduling options on a case-by-case basis. We may request a medical certificate or other supporting documentation to process such requests.
5. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events)
In situations of force majeure (unpredictable events beyond our control), such as natural disasters, political unrest, or other emergencies, Tour7Portugal cannot be held responsible for cancellations or delays caused by these events. No refunds will be issued in such cases, but we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements, reschedule the tour, or offer other solutions where possible.
6. Refund Eligibility
Please note that our refund policy applies only to the tour services provided by Tour7Portugal. Additional services, such as meals, accommodations, or transportation booked separately or through third parties, may have their own cancellation policies. Tour7Portugal is not responsible for any third-party cancellation policies or charges related to these services.
